Sustainability Calendar 2025

The Little Sprouts Sustainability Calendar is a fantastic planning tool to help you work smarter, not harder. This resource will support you to easily plan and implement awareness-raising events across the entire year. This beautiful, double-sided, A1 size wall calendar, highlights over 140 handpicked international and national awareness days, weeks, and months to celebrate the environment, plus a bonus art print on the back! It is a powerful resource to educate and inspire children, educators, and families to explore the many wonders of our Earth and take action to care for it. Featuring illustrations by Wadawurrung artist Jenna Oldaker, this resource is the gift that keeps giving long after you’re finished using the front calendar.

The back side of the calendar features a special art print by Jenna Oldaker called Yaluk Dja (River Country). More information is provided after your order is complete, on the stories and meanings behind the illustrations featured in the 2025 Calendar so you can learn more about Wadawurrung culture and Country.

We triple check all dates with event partners before going to print. Even so, we can’t control if partners change their mind about event dates after we go to print. We will notify customers of any unexpected date changes should this happen.

The Sustainability Calendar has been developed for early childhood educators and teachers in Australia. However, we know (from feedback received), that it also a useful resource for any Australian school teacher, organisations that support education services and parents (e.g., Councils, libraries, conservation organisations), environmental educators, people working in marketing, and parents/carers of young children.

Our calendar is printed in Carrum Downs, Victoria on thick, smooth FSC®️ Mix Certified paper (licensed code FSC®️ C010628). This ensures that all virgin pulp is derived from well-managed forests and controlled sources. Manufactured by an ISO 14001 certified mill.

Please reuse the calendar. It is double-sided to extend its life cycle of use. Come the end of the year, you can turn the calendar over to display the stunning art print by Jenna Oldaker, or use it to create an invitation to play and learn, engaging children in exploration and discovery of Aboriginal art, culture, and Caring for Country.

The calendar is also fully recyclable and compostable.

Reconciliation is an important value we stand by. The Little Sprouts Sustainability Calendar promotes reconciliation and encourages exploring sustainability through Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and connections. It is important that educational services and children develop meaningful connections with Traditional Owners, and Country.

Our Sustainability Calendar promotes and acknowledges the role Australian Traditional Owners have played for thousands of years and continue to play, in Caring for Country. We have been granted permission by the feature artist, Jenna Oldaker (Wadawurrung Traditional Owner) to share some of her cultural intellectual property, including stories and meanings behind illustrations in the 2025 Calendar. Jenna Oldaker is a Wadawurrung Traditional Owner and visual artist creating works under Murrup Art. Jenna’s art comes from the sacred tradition of storytelling told by her ancestors and their spirits.

Born and based in Ballarat, Victoria, Jenna’s vibrant, multi-coloured artworks are largely inspired by the Traditional marks and symbols from the Dreamtime, and from Wadawurrung Country itself. Every piece created by Jenna comes from her heart and strong connection to her family and mob.

We are over the moon to be partnering with Jenna, learning more about Wadawurrung culture and Jenna’s art.

Check out our top ideas for how to display the Sustainability Calendar at your work or home. When your rolled print first arrives, we suggest unrolling it and placing it flat on a surface. Weigh this down e.g., with some books on the corners, for a few hours to flatten it out before displaying it.

The Sustainability Calendar is a non-editable, print only. No frame or wall hangers are included. If you would like to pair the calendar with our popular wooden magnetic wall hangers, please add this to your order.

The calendar is carefully rolled in protective paper and packaged in a sturdy postage tube designed to protect your product. The postage tube can be reused or recycled. For further information, see our Shipping page.

The Calendar is provided in a PDF format, 20.4MB file size. Please note: the digital download option is for the front calendar only. It does not include the back art print.

The Calendar file is suitable to be printed in A1 size (if you’d like to print a copy yourself on a large format printer).
